Motan Colortronic

Mission

Motan Colortronic wanted to consolidate a number of brand and ecommerce websites into a single, industry leading web presence that promoted their brand and products to the UK market and the rest of the world.

Another key consideration was how Motan Colortronic could use their new website to add value to their customers. Help videos and downloadable user guides available via a secure members area were required.

With product data and imagery stored in a number of systems it was clear that a simplified approach was needed.

Key for Motan Colortronic was the separation of equipment and parts - the ability to quickly find parts was a key driver for the development of the new site.

Project

Before the build began we needed a solution for managing products into the website solution. After a full technical review of current systems and processes Magnifica proposed a new process for managing products. This streamlined process sources product data and images from the clients SAP implementation.

Using the NopCommerce Open Source .NET ecommerce platform we built a fully responsive ecommerce website.

We used many of the out-of-the-box features configuring them to meet the individual needs of the client

We also built a number of custom plugins for NopCommerce to deliver the Videos, Help Guides and Case study areas of the website.

Outcomes

Working closely with the Motan Colortronic and their IT support team we delivered a modern and responsive website.

Motan Colortronic now have a fully integrated online sales workflow from ERP, to website, to order fulfilment and client correspondence.
